Woodbridge resident Anna Gloria Mastromarino, 24, was taken into custody shortly before noon on Sunday, Jan. 8 by members of the Prince William County Police Department following an investigation into a disturbance at the Stoney Ridge Apartment complex in the 144000 block of Artery Lane.
According to police, when officers arrived at the apartment to investigate the domestic incident, they were met by Mastromarino, who was allegedly intoxicated.
While attempting to take Mastromarino into custody, it is alleged that she actively resisted and refused to follow officers’ commands, kicking one in the process.
During her processing at the Prince William-Manassas Adult Detention Center, officials say that Mastromarino continued to be unruly, actively resisting, during which she kicked a second officer before she was re-secured without further incident.
The domestic incident was only verbal in nature, according to the police. No serious injuries were reported.
Mastromarino was charged with:
- Two counts of assault and battery on a law enforcement officer;
- Obstruction of justice;
- Intoxicated in public.
She is being held without bond pending her court appearance.
